About

MarcoPoloLoco is a mobile app that allows you to send a message (a Marco) to a location at a palce in time. Anyone at that location will receive the message and can choose whether or not to reply (a Polo).

Essentially, you can filter who receives a message to people by place and time.

You select a location rather than a list of people. So let's say you want to send a message to the office...you select your office location and and we deliver the message only to people that are there at the time you specify.

No longer will you spam people that have no interest in the discussion. If they are out of town, busy, or not in that location they won't be annoyed by something that does not pertain to them.

Location Privacy

Don't Be Creepy!

Communicate with your friends or co-workers based upon where they are without tracking their location.

Better Context

Don't Spam Your Friends!

Filter the recipients of your message to just those people that are actually near a place that you are talking about.

Why spam all of your friends when only some of them are in town for lunch?

Time Based Messaging

Message the Past

Send a Marco to a place and time in the past. Anyone that was there at that time will get the message. For example, send a Marco to the bar last Friday.

Don't Get Stalked!

Find out what's going on around you and meet people when you're in a new area without anyone knowing your location.

Don't Get Spammed!

Only receive messages that are contextually important to you.

Don't get the message about finding something at the office when you are not at the office.

Message the Future

Send a message to a place at a time in the future.
